I am very excited to be chosen as a Champion Fundraiser for individuals living on the autism spectrum in Northern Virginia. I will be raising funds as a model for the fashion runway show in the Arts for Autism Gala which benefits the Autism Society of Northern Virginia (ASNV). Arts for Autism will be at the Clarendon Ballroom on Saturday, October 22, 2011. If you buy a Gala Table there is a special dinner reception at 7pm, otherwise this extraordinary event will begin at 8pm.

All proceeds from Arts for Autism will beneﬁt the Autism Society of Northern Virginia. Children do not "outgrow' autism, but studies show that early diagnosis and intervention can lead to significantly improved outcomes. With the right services and supports, people with autism can live full, healthy, and meaningful lives.

How will the funds raised be used?
The funds raised by our efforts will go towards ASNV's Intervention Assistance Fund that provides mini-grants to hundreds of families annually to pay for therapies, treatments and programs that are not covered by insurance or state or local services.
